Beginning a new commission...

Today I'm beginning a new painting that was recently commissioned by a friend of mine. I absolutely love the idea.  The sketch doesn't fully show the concept...  
He's walking down the street of a really bad neighborhood (like where he grew up) and as the street goes on it becomes nicer and nicer.  There is symbolism scattered throughout and will be camouflaged in the pavement and on the buildings as graffiti.  Everything in the painting is personal to my friend and his journey towards a building a successful life.  I will post where I"m at with the drawing tomorrow.
